Well, whatever floats your boat...

Incidentally, Mexico is not north of Cuba. I still maintain that the only place for a proletarian socialist revolutionary is in that party, and that the only time to split from it is on the crest of a real crisis ... if I had been in an organisation within the party during the Rae government's betrayal, THEN I would have agitated for a split; THEN I would have advocated a break with the NDP leadership by the unions. (I was not, at that time, so I just left.) That is the only way to successfully advance beyond the centrists and the social-democrats; showing their betrayals of the workers' collective interest for what they are, and replacing their ultimately reactionary leadership with a genuinely socialist one. Forming a rump left-socialist party with no links to any section of the organisations of the working class, as you comrades have done, is not going to work.

I'm getting to be an old man, and may not live to see it, but I will know the tactic of working within the social democracy her has worked when I see revolutionary socialists marching out of the NDP, banners high, followed by a substantial section of the party's class base. Until that happens I will advocate for change within the party, and advocate for its election *as a workers' government*, based not on its platform but on its nature.redlionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10548374961486668355noreply@blogger.com
